Her exceptional talent lies in transforming ideas into meaningful concepts that reach the market as visually stunning and honest representations and narratives. With a strong background in communication, design, and branding, Olatz skillfully manages and reinterprets complex client briefs, translating them into project opportunities that convey strategies, methodologies, and compelling arguments in a simple and clear manner. This ensures that both companies and end users can easily understand and engage with the message.
Before joining dot., Olatz worked at the Basque Audiovisual Public Entity EITB, where she developed new communication formats. She was part of the Impact Hub Brussels team, gaining experience in social impact through media and communication.
Olatz has led international design projects for clients across various sectors, including retail, insurance, education, and government, earning recognition as a Next Generation Foresight Practitioner Fellow.
Additionally, she has served as a university professor at Mondragon University’s Faculty of Business Management—specifically within the Mondragon Team Academy (MTA)—teaching “Innovative Service Design”. She has also taught “Innovation in Media and Communication” at the Faculty of Audiovisual Communication at Mondragon University and has conducted various training sessions related to innovation at the Basque Culinary Center. Furthermore, she has developed her own programs focused on “Women’s Leadership and Empowerment”.
