Ana Gazpio
Ecosystem Designer and Associate
Ana has a background in industrial design, and throughout her career, she has integrated methodologies and tools from the field of social innovation. This has enabled Ana to lead significant ecosystems of stakeholders and facilitate the creation of new public-private partnerships, guiding them in establishing new hybrid value chains aligned with a common goal.
From this systemic perspective of projects, Ana identifies the key elements to generate products, services, and even narratives that not only address the needs of the involved stakeholders, but also meet the important standards of well-being and environmental respect that Ana always brings to the table as part of her own activism and empathy. This impact-oriented vision is valued by strategic clients of dot. as a differentiating factor in project development.
Before joining dot., Ana participated in interesting projects in the UK related to climate change, collaborated at the brand design firm Angelica Barco Studio, where she learned about building purpose-driven brands and the visual representation of systems, and was part of Aguirre Lehendakaria Center (ALC), creating Social Innovation platforms to tackle complex social challenges in specific territories. She is a strong advocate for cooperation and active listening as essential means to achieve common goals and generate just transitions.
At dot., Ana has discovered Futures Studies as the perfect intersection of emerging technologies, design and new narratives. She has skillfully adapted these innovative methodologies, transforming them into applied innovation processes for clients across various sectors. This enables them to broaden their perspectives and identify key strategic drivers, which we have successfully implemented in dot. projects within vulnerable contexts. In these cases, the power of imagination and the creation of an inspiring vision of the future (or futures) becomes a crucial element for the personal and communal development of the population.
