Challenge: Transforming lives through innovation

How can we cultivate a culture of innovation that acts as a catalyst to transform the potential of UNICEF staff's experience and knowledge in each country into tangible benefits for millions of children worldwide?

Solution: Driving global innovation for social change

The initiative was launched with a call to the entire organization to submit proposals for innovative solutions to challenges in three categories: humanitarian issues, climate change, and youth-led innovation. Approximately 2,000 individuals participated in the process, resulting in around 117 proposals from over 60 countries.

dot. has created a program for nine selected teams with promising ideas to help them advance. The program includes a five-day incubator bootcamp, three months of mentorship, and a prestigious awards event. The Spark incubation methodology focuses on generating, scaling, and communicating innovations with social impact, tailored to the unique pace and development stage of each project in the program.
